Habitat Conservation
The Far North Farming Food Box grows 3 acres of produce in a 40ft shipping container.
Less FTP Miles Up North
Fewer farm-to-plate (FTP) miles vs the average 1,500 FTP miles for imported foods.
Less Employees
The Far North Farming Food Box requires 1-2 handlers vs 7 handlers with traditional farming for equivalent food production.
Less Water Usage
Uses 10% of the H2O of conventional agriculture for equivalent food production.
No Chemicals

Grow year round with a Far North Farming Food Box vs 1-2 growing seasons with traditional farming for equivalent food production.
Containers can be added to achieve the desired production capacity.
Far North Farming will create hundreds of well-paying new jobs in northern Canada and will ensure every employee takes home fresh, great-tasting, nutritious food for their family.
Each container will produce a value of $90,000 to $140,000 of food annually.
Within a complete Far North Farm Facility of 24 containers, this translates to between $2,160,000 and $3,360,000 per year.
